Making the Decision to Get Help
Instincts are powerful and should be trusted when making decisions regarding whether you or your child need help or not. Sometimes these instincts tell us that something is wrong or that things are not the way they should be - an infant that is not returning a hug or smile. Perhaps the child is getting into trouble or is just not happy for some reason. If you have concerns, it may be a great relief to just “be sure” there is not a problem you should address. In some cases your questions can be answered in a brief consultation or even by a phone conversation. Our goal is to be thorough and to be fairly certain that we are doing everything we can to ensure that you or your children get what they need.
